A new version of the KWin-lowlatency composite manager for KDE Plasma has been released, which is supplemented with patches to increase the responsiveness of the interface.
Changes in version 5.15.5:
- Added new settings (System Settings > Display and Monitor > Compositor) that allow you to strike a balance between responsiveness and functionality.
- Support for NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Disabled support for linear animation (can be returned in the settings).
- Using glXWaitVideoSync instead of DRM VBlank.
- Added a mode to disable full-screen output redirects through the transit buffer.
