A new release of ReactOS 0.4.13, an operating system aimed at ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Windows programs and drivers, has been introduced.
Major changes:
- Synchronization with the Wine Staging codebase.
- Updated versions of Btrfs 1.4, ACPICA 20190816, UniATA 0.47a, mbedTLS 2.7.11, libpng 1.6.37.
- An enhancement to the new USB stack that provides support for input devices (HIDs) and USB drives.
- Optimization of the FreeLoader bootloader, reducing the boot time of ReactOS on FAT partitions in boot from USB drives with copying the system to RAM.
- New Accessibility Utility Manager for configuring system settings useful for people with disabilities.
- Fixed incorrect activation of the "apply" button in dialog boxes.
- Improved theme support in the on-screen keyboard.
- The font selection interface is close in its capabilities to a similar utility from Windows.
- File search is implemented in the graphical shell.
- Fixed: Recycle bin contents went out of available disk space.
- Improved support for 64-bit systems.
- Launched on the first generation of Xbox consoles.
