Release of GNU Emacs 27.2 text editor

The GNU Project has released the GNU Emacs 27.2 text editor. Up until the release of GNU Emacs 24.5, the project was developed under the personal direction of Richard Stallman, who handed over the leadership of the project to John Wiegley in the fall of 2015.

It is noted that the Emacs 27.2 release only includes bug fixes and no new features, other than changing the behavior of the 'resize-mini-frames' option. Setting 'resize-mini-frames' to a non-zero value, which is not a function, now defaults to resizing miniframes with the new 'fit-mini-frame-to-buffer' function, which does not skip leading and trailing empty buffer lines.
