Another release of XMage 1.4.35, a free client and server for playing Magic: The Gathering both online and against a computer (AI), has taken place.
MTG is the world's first collectible fantasy card game, the progenitor of all modern CCGs like Hearthstone and Eternal.
XMage is a multi-platform client-server application written in Java using the Swing graphical toolkit.
Application features:
- access to all 18 unique cards released over the 20-year history of MTG;
- automatic control and application of the rules of the game;
- multiplayer mode with the search for players on a shared server;
- single player mode with the game against the computer (AI);
- dozens of formats and game modes (Standard, Modern, Vintage, Commander and more);
- the possibility of holding both single matches and tournaments.
What's new in this version:
- Full support for the new, not yet released War of the Spark map set, with all maps and game mechanics;
- Almost 300 new cards;
- Added support for CTRL/SHIFT/ALT hotkeys;
- Added the ability to switch between chats using F12;
- Improved work with connecting and disconnecting from the server;
- Improved Rich Man mode, incl. added saving settings with selected sets;
- Added deck import from XMage and MTGO draft logs;
- Numerous improvements in AI for more stable computer gaming;
- Improved compatibility with MacOS.
