β€œSome have suggested that tomorrow's announcement could be related to cross-platform play. An amazing thing will be shown tomorrow, but it has nothing to do with it. To be clear, there will be no crossplay in the release version of Borderlands 3, but we are working hard with our partners to make sure everyone can play together." wrote Pitchford.

The fans are confused tweet in the official Borderlands 3 account. The developers posted a picture in it with the inscription β€œJoin our celebration of unity” (Π‘elebration of togetherness). Because of this, users have assumed that we are talking about crossplay.

It's not yet clear what exactly Gearbox is preparing, but PC Gamer journalists suggest that this will apply to the multiplayer game. This is probably the only option left. The presentation will take place today, beginning at 17:00 Moscow time.

Earlier, the studio showed a new system of in-game tags. Judging by its appearance, the developers borrowed it from Apex Legends. Players can signal to each other about the location of enemies, supplies, or direction of travel. Details can be found here.
