Co-op monster-slaying action game Dauntless will be out of beta soon with a full release on May 21st. On that day, the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will also appear on the Epic Games Store.
At the same time, the fifth season of the project will begin with the next “hunting pass”. Everyone who downloads Dauntless will get access to a free version of the pass with a couple of cosmetic items, while those who pay $10 will get a full pass with many rewards and premium currency.
The release version of the action will include “a huge number of innovations and content updates”, as well as a set of Mastery challenges with achievements and valuable trophies. The developers promise to completely rework the campaign mode, making changes to the quest system, crafting, character interaction and much more.
Since the open beta testing of Dauntless began last year, the players managed to defeat a lot of monsters and collect high-quality armor sets during this time. In order for beginners to achieve the same success faster, they will be offered to purchase the Arcslayer set with unique armor, premium currency and useful consumables. Its cost has not yet been specified, the game itself will be distributed on a shareware model.
