Rail shooter Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record will help you remember the trilogy on PC and consoles in 2021

The Panzer Dragoon series consists of four parts. The main trilogy was released on the Sega Saturn between 1995 and 1998, while the fourth only made it to release in 2002 on the Xbox. The games have been featured on IGN's "Top 100 Greatest Video Games of All Time" lists more than once in the past. This year saw the release of the remake of the first part of Panzer Dragoon on Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia (PC version announced, but no release date announced). Up next: Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga and maybe even Panzer Dragoon Orta. The latter, however, is available on Xbox One as part of backward compatibility and works on Xbox One X with improved graphics and in 4K.

Meanwhile, Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record is a rail ride that includes episodes from the series' trilogy. The games tell the story of a hero or heroine who fights dragons against an evil empire in a post-apocalyptic world. The shards of humanity are at war with each other for the land, resources and technology of the Ancients, who were a highly advanced civilization thousands of years before the events of Panzer Dragoon. Monsters created by them for military and other purposes are the main opponents in the game.
