Bluepoint Games and SIE Japan Studio as part of the online PlayStation 5 Showcase presented a relatively lengthy gameplay excerpt of the updated version of the action role-playing Demon's Souls.
The lion's share of the four-minute video is devoted to the passage of the starting location. The segment ends at the encounter with the first boss (see image above), which does not end well for the protagonist.
The last half-minute of the trailer was devoted to cutting gameplay episodes from different worlds of Demon's Souls. The section includes a demo of a few more bosses and prettier environments.
On creative director of SIE Worldwide Studios Gavin Moore (Gavin Moore), in the remake, the developers tried to keep the spirit of the original game, increasing its graphical advantages and making the story richer and darker.
If we believe , the updated Demon's Souls will be the PS5 launch game. The remake will also be released on PC and other consoles (over time) - this is stated in plain text at the very end of the video.
