The Stack Overflow discussion platform has published the results of its annual survey, which was attended by about 90 software developers.
The language most commonly used by survey participants is JavaScript 67.8% (69.8% a year ago, most Stack Overflow participants are web developers). The greatest growth in popularity, as in the past year, is demonstrated by Python, which moved from 7th to 4th place over the year, overtaking Java and Shell.
