Results of a demographic survey of software developers with FOSS from OpenSSF

Free and open source software (FOSS) has become an important part of the modern economy. It has been estimated that FOSS makes up 80-90% of any given piece of modern software, and software is an increasingly important resource in almost every industry.

To better understand the state of security and resilience in the FOSS ecosystem, and how organizations and companies can support it, the Linux Foundation conducted a survey of FOSS participants. The results were quite predictable.
