Richard Stallman published a book on the C language and GNU extensions

Richard Stallman presented his new book "GNU C Language Intro and Reference Manual" (PDF, 260 pages), co-authored with Travis Rothwell (author of The GNU C Reference Manual, excerpts from which are used in Stallman's book) and Nelson Beebe, wrote a chapter on floating point calculations. The book is aimed at developers who are familiar with the principles of programming in some other language and who want to learn the C language. The manual also talks about language extensions developed by the GNU project. The book is offered for initial proofreading and Stallman asks to report any identified inaccuracies or language that is difficult to understand.
