Role-playing action Blue Protocol: new trailer now, closed beta in March

Bandai Namco and Bandai Namco Online held a broadcast dedicated to submitted last July Blue Protocol. This online anime-style action role-playing game has received a new trailer based on the current build of the game. The developers also announced the imminent holding of closed beta testing and shared some details.

The public also learned additional details. In particular, the game will feature mounts with different abilities. Some of these creatures will be useful not only for faster movement, but will also be able to fight alongside the player. Others will benefit from supporting skills like healing. In addition, the developers showed some new character customization features that will be added to the game - for example, the hero can be given animal ears.

As part of the first closed beta testing of Blue Protocol, the number of participants will be 50 thousand; applications will begin to be accepted on February 12. The beta test will take place at the end of March and will last four days. Specific dates and times will be published later on the official Twitter channel.

Blue Protocol has so far been announced only for Japan and only for PC. At some stage, the game will probably be released outside its home market. You can watch the beta version trailer, as well as a story about the innovations (in Japanese), in the video below. Let's add that on the Reddit forum user Furia_BD said: Bandai Namco is looking for a localization manager for Blue Protocol - this means that an English version of the action RPG will indeed be presented in the future. Perhaps even before the full launch.
