Game designer David Brevik, co-founder and president of Blizzard North, who also co-created Diablo, works on small projects at independent studio Graybeard Games. His latest game, It Lurks Below, is coming soon to Xbox One and will be available immediately on Xbox Game Pass.
It Lurks Below is an action RPG with elements of survival in a procedurally generated world. In the game, you need to fight in a huge dungeon with hordes of enemies. Several classes are available at character creation, including bard, cleric, sorcerer, rogue, warrior, mage, paladin, and necromancer. The spirit of the game is similar to Diablo and Hellgate: Longdon.
The project was released on Steam on May 29, 2019. Exactly when It Lurks Below will go on sale on Xbox One and be available on Xbox Game Pass is unknown.
