Videos with children on YouTube get 3 times more views

According to a Pew Research Center study, YouTube videos featuring children under 13 are viewed three times more often than videos without children.

The study generated a list of popular YouTube channels that have more than 250 subscribers and were already created by the end of 000. Then the videos that appeared on the channels in the first week of January 2018 were analyzed. Despite the fact that only a small percentage of videos were aimed at children, every video that featured a child under the age of 2019 received an average of three times as many views.
