Moscow studio Enplex Games announced that the session MMO Population Zero will be released in
“We are pleased to inform you that the game will be released on Steam Early Access on May 5th. In response to the concerns and wishes of our fans, we have made the decision to release Population Zero as a buy-to-play,” wrote the developer. Previously, Enplex Games planned to distribute Population Zero on a shareware model.
Population Zero is an online action role-playing game with elements of survival. The community of players will be divided into numerous colonies and factions that fight each other for resources, technologies and territories on the planet Kepler. In addition, gamers will have to complete tasks, help characters and explore the planet in order to gain experience points for leveling up their account (which will open access to new modes and mechanics).
Population Zero will be in Early Access for at least 9 months. The project is being developed for PC.
