Recall that our country is participating in the ExoMars project to explore the Red Planet. In 2016, an apparatus set off for Mars, including the TGO orbiter and the Schiaparelli descent module. The first successfully collects data, and the second, unfortunately, crashed during landing. The second phase of the ExoMars project will be implemented next year. It involves the launch of a Russian landing platform with a European robotic rover on board.

In addition, Russia, together with the United States, intends to carry out the Venera-D mission. As part of this project, a lander and an orbiter will be sent to explore the second planet of the solar system.
