Russian technology startup Cognitive Pilot, which specializes in the development of autonomous driving technologies for cars, is considering an initial public offering (IPO) after 2023, its chief executive Olga Uskova told Reuters.

β€œThe first IPOs in this sector will be very successful. It is important not to miss the moment, ”Uskova noted, adding that after 2023 Cognitive Pilot will either conduct an IPO or announce a new round of investments.

Cognitive Pilot develops autonomous driving systems for passenger cars, as well as for agricultural vehicles, trains and trams. Its clients include the state-owned railway operator Russian Railways, the Rusagro agricultural complex, and the South Korean auto parts manufacturer Hyundai Mobis.

Cognitive Pilot was created by Π‘ognitive Technologies group of companies and Sberbank, which owns 30% of its shares.
