“Like any other large-scale development program, it [the lunar program] should make the most of the opportunities of international partnership. In this regard, cooperation between Russia and partners in the ISS project is of undoubted interest, ”the Roscosmos said.

The implementation of the lunar program together with partners will speed up the implementation of certain missions and increase their efficiency. However, it was noted that such cooperation would be possible only "with strict observance of national interests and on a parity basis."

We add that recently the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (FSUE TsNIIMash) of Roscosmos presented the concept of the Russian lunar base. Its actual formation will be carried out no earlier than 2035.
