One of the documents provides for the creation and use of a joint data center for the study of the Moon and deep space. This site will be a geographically distributed information system with two main nodes, one of which will be located on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the other on the territory of the People's Republic of China.

In the future, the parties intend to involve specialized national organizations and institutions in order to expand the functionality of the center. The new site will help improve the efficiency of research into our planet’s natural satellite.

The second agreement concerns cooperation within the framework of coordination of the Russian mission with the orbital spacecraft Luna-Resurs-1 and the Chinese mission to explore the polar region of the Moon Chang'e-7. It is expected that the Russian probe will help select landing sites for future Chinese spacecraft.

In addition, tests will be carried out to relay data between the Russian Luna-Resurs-1 spacecraft and the space modules of the Chinese Chang'e-7 mission.

We add that the agreements were signed by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the head of the Chinese National Space Administration Zhang Keqiang.
