The state corporation Rostec announces that the Shvabe holding, which is part of it, has become the only supplier of equipment to combat the spread of coronavirus in Russia.
The situation around the new coronavirus continues to worsen. According to the latest data, almost 390 thousand people are infected. The death toll is approaching 17.
In Russia, 444 people have been officially confirmed infected. One of the patients, unfortunately, died.
As part of measures to contain the coronavirus infection in Russia, Shvabe Holding will provide federal and regional executive authorities with the necessary technical solutions. We are talking about thermal imagers, infrared thermometers and air disinfection units.
In particular, under a contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Shvabe will supply new thermal imagers manufactured by the Lytkarino optical glass plant (LZOS) and the Krasnogorsk plant named after. S. A. Zvereva (KMZ). At a distance of up to 10 meters, the devices detect people with elevated body temperature at checkpoints and inspections, including railway stations, airports and border zones.
As for infrared thermometers, they measure body temperature with high accuracy. Moreover, the readings are issued almost instantly.
In total, under the contract, thermal imagers, infrared thermometers and air disinfection units will be produced and supplied for 5 billion rubles.
