The Biometrics application functions in conjunction with the portal and the Unified Identification and Authentication System (ESIA).
In order to remotely open an account or deposit, issue a loan, make a bank transfer, you need to log in to the public services portal and confirm your data in the Unified Biometric System by saying a randomly generated numerical sequence. After that, via a secure communication channel, the record is sent for comparison with a template that is stored in the biometric system. If the system has identified a person with a probability higher than 99,99%, the program will report a successful check, and the user will have access to financial services.
The updated application "Biometrics" has information about available financial services and the conditions for obtaining them. Previously, in order to get acquainted with the conditions for receiving the service, it was necessary to install the bank's application. Now you can find out the details and start the registration of the necessary service immediately from the program catalog. A special section has also appeared, in which Rostelecom talks about new services and features of working with biometrics.
