The Rostelecom company, according to the online publication RIA Novosti, has selected three suppliers of cellular devices running the Sailfish Mobile OS RUS operating system.
Let us recall that in the first quarter of last year, Rostelecom announced a deal to purchase the Sailfish OS mobile platform, which can be used on smartphones and tablet computers. It is expected that mobile devices based on Sailfish Mobile OS RUS will be used in government agencies.
Reportedly, this year a tender was announced for the supply of 100 thousand smartphones running Sailfish Mobile OS RUS. The cost of the contract was stated at 3,7 billion rubles.
Applications were received from nine companies, but the contract will be concluded with only three of them. These are Kyutek LLC (Moscow, the contract value is no more than 997,5 million rubles), Distribution Center LLC (Khimki near Moscow, the amount is no more than 950 million rubles) and Retentive Distribution Company LLC (Moscow, the contract value is 946,3 .XNUMX million rubles).
Deliveries of smartphones must be made within 150 calendar days. The devices will be available to employees of government agencies, as well as municipal organizations, budgetary institutions and companies with state participation.
