From April 11 to April 14, for connoisseurs of high-quality sound and video, the Aquarium Hotel (Crocus Expo, Moscow) will host the oldest Russian exhibition of audio and video equipment Hi-Fi & High End Show 2019.
This is the largest project in the field of high-end audio and video, which has been held in Moscow since 1996. At the exhibition, the participants are offered a "hotel" format, which implies the placement of the exposition in hotel rooms, which allows you to hear and see the equipment practically in "home" conditions.
The exhibition will showcase acoustic stereo systems, turntables, digital players, network media players, amplifiers, home theater projectors and screens, accessories, furniture, etc.
Headphones and portable equipment will be presented in the new HI-FI Portable section. The traditional HI-FI Vinyl will host an exhibition and sale of vinyl records and literature. The novelty of the program is the HI-FI Streaming project. It will show equipment and services for streaming music in high quality.
The exhibition will host a number of events for everyone. For example, the Battle of Format will take place - a unique experiment that allows you to compare analog and digital sound sources: magnetic tape on a reel and in a cassette, vinyl, CD and HiRes file 24bit / 96kHz. Comparative auditions will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 11:30 am and 15:30 pm and Sunday, April 14 at 11:00 am and 15:00 pm, in the hotel's Panoramic Hall on the 6th floor.
April 13 at 13:00 will be a lecture VINYL, speaker - Mikhail Borzenkov, musician, audiophile, author of the popular video blog about Borzenkov home audio equipment. He will tell you why vinyl sounds better, where it came from and how to listen to it correctly.
On April 13 at 14:30, Andrey Belonogov, Director of Ultra Production, will speak to the participants about the work of the Russian vinyl record plant, what is trending now and why color records are needed.
And on April 14 at 12:00 the participants of the event will meet with Yaroslav Vorobyov, AVReport.ru. He will share information about the types of headphones and their main characteristics that should influence the choice of the buyer, and tell you how to match headphones with an amplifier.
A pleasant gift for all visitors will be the prize drawings, which this year will be held both on Saturday and Sunday. On April 13 at 17:00, floor acoustics Sonus Faber SONETTO III white from Armada Sound, wireless music system KEF LSX from MMC, network player Yamaha WXC-50 from Yamaha will be played.
