Starting February 26, PUBG players from different consoles will be able to gather in groups

Cross-platform matches themselves in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appeared back in October last year. But friends on different platforms couldn't intentionally group up to play together. This feature will appear with the release of Update 6.2, which is now available on test servers. The public release of the update will take place on February 26.

Cross-platform groups are made possible by a redesign of the in-game friends list. In addition to a new look and enhanced features, the list now allows players to search for the names of all users on any platform, send them a friend request, and go into battle with them.

In addition, update 6.2 for the first time will add in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 classic Team Deathmatch mode. It is played by two teams of eight people each. The goal is to be the first to score 50 kills or the maximum number of kills by the end of the round (after ten minutes have elapsed).

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
