The content patch will become available on April 22 and, as with previous patches, will be free for all owners of Sea of Thieves (Xbox One, Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass).
With the release of Ships of Fortune, players will be able to represent the four original trading companies and one new one (The Reaper's Bones) in exchange for the prospect of earning boosters and special character customization items.
Ships of Fortune also redesigned the Arena competitive mode to make it more dynamic: one treasure chest instead of cards, reduced match times to 15 minutes, and the ability to revive a teammate.
Among other things, with Ships of Fortune, cats will appear in Sea of Thieves, which they will be able to take on their pirate journey. Of course, four-legged pets will be allowed to dress up in various costumes.
Sea of Thieves is an online action-adventure game with all the attributes of a pirate: sea travel, combat, exploration and treasure.
Rare also confirmed the other day that Sea of Thieves is coming soon. . The version for Valve's digital service will support cross-platform multiplayer (Microsoft Store and Xbox One).
