Samsung Galaxy M40 has passed Wi-Fi Alliance certification and is preparing for release

This year, Samsung has launched an offensive in the budget segment, taking on its competitors with the new Galaxy M series of devices, specially designed for those who want good value for money. So far, the company has presented three promising models in the form of the Galaxy M10, M20 and M30.

But the Korean electronics manufacturer is not done yet: the Galaxy M40 model is preparing to be released in the near future, which appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance portal. More precisely, the SM-M405F model running the Android 9 Pie mobile operating system was spotted there. According to information from the Indian resource source Gizchina, this number hides the Galaxy M40.

Based on our experience with the A series, we can expect the M40 to be only slightly better than the Galaxy M30, which is already a pretty interesting budget smartphone. You can be guided by the fact that the differences, as in the case of the A30 and A40, will concern, in fact, only the screen size and battery capacity, and all other aspects will remain unchanged.

GizChina also reports that the company is preparing a Galaxy M50 model. This is not surprising, given that the A series is currently represented by no less than seven devices.
