Five months have passed since the laptop was announced, and publications have already appeared on the Internet suggesting that Samsung may ultimately cancel its release.

However, the fears were unfounded, and the Galaxy Book S laptop went on sale in South Korea. Recently, YouTube user TheUnlockr purchased a new product here and shared his opinion about it. According to him, the Galaxy Book S is not inferior in performance to the Surface Pro X, is very light and thin, and provides up to 14,5 hours of battery life when playing 4K videos on YouTube.

Galaxy Book S is equipped with a 13,3-inch touch display with recognition of up to 10 simultaneous touches, has 8 GB of RAM, 256 or 512 GB of flash memory expandable up to 1 TB, as well as an LTE module. Studio-quality sound is provided by AKG stereo speakers and support for Dolby Atmos technology. The battery life of the device reaches 23 hours, the weight is 0,96 kg.

Galaxy Book S is available in two colors: Earthy Gold and Mercury Grey. Samsung plans to start selling new items in the USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Germany, France, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
