Dong Jin Koh (DJ Koh), president and head of IT and Mobile Communications at Samsung Electronics, has repeatedly stated that foldable smartphones are the future.

While the foldable smartphone's problems won't weigh on Samsung's balance sheet, analysts said its rescheduling undermines the firm's commitment to being a trailblazer rather than someone else's follower.

However, one of the employees of Samsung, who wished to remain anonymous, saw the positive side of the incident. He said: “On the other hand, we have the opportunity to fix this problem before the start of sales of smartphones to a wide audience, so that there will not be the same complaints in the future.”
