Linux on DeX is a development by Samsung and Canonical that allows you to run Ubuntu on Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4 when connected to Samsung DeX. Linux on DeX has been in beta status so far.
Enterprising users have already created a petition asking to open the source code: petition.
