Samsung said it is already working on fixing bugs in the device's software. It is noteworthy that the problem only affected the camera of the most advanced model in the line - Galaxy S20 Ultra. There have been no reports of autofocus malfunctioning on the S20 and S20+. This is likely due to the fact that the two younger models are equipped with a different phase detection system that uses more pixels to focus.
The company did not give an exact release date for the update that will fix the bugs, although the smartphone will go on sale on March 6th. It remains to be hoped that by this time the problem will be fixed.
