Samsung has announced the price and release date of the updated laptop-transformer Notebook 9 Pro, announced at the beginning of the year at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. Together with him, another laptop-transformer Notebook 9 Pen (2019) was presented at the exhibition.

Both new items will go on sale April 17. Notebook 9 Pro starts at $1099, Notebook 9 Pen (2019) starts at $1399.

Of the two devices, the Notebook 9 Pro received the more radical design upgrade. Samsung has ditched the smooth curves, rounded corners, and painted plastic parts of the chassis in favor of a more modern design with beveled edges and smaller corner radii, giving the laptop a more premium feel.

The Notebook 9 Pro starts at $1099 for a base model with a 13,3-inch FHD (1920×1080) display, 7th Gen Intel Core i8 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. Samsung will also offer a $1299 version of the device that doubles the amount of RAM and flash storage to 16GB and 256GB, respectively.

Notebook 9 Pen (2019) retained the old, already bored design, like the model released last year, but received an updated S Pen stylus, additional USB-C ports. In addition, along with the 13,3-inch version, the 15-inch version of the Notebook 9 Pen (2019) was released.

The 13-inch Notebook 9 Pen model with an 7th Gen Intel Core i8 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost $1399. In the 15-inch version, the amount of RAM has been increased to 16 GB. This version of the laptop will come in two configurations: with integrated Intel graphics for $1599 and with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB of video memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD (priced at $1799).
