Information about a new Samsung smartphone with the designation SM-A102U has appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance website: this device is expected to be released on the commercial market under the name Galaxy A10e.
In February, we recall, there was inexpensive smartphone Galaxy A10. It received a 6,2-inch HD+ screen (1520 Γ 720 pixels), an Exynos 7884 processor with eight cores, cameras with 5- and 13-megapixel matrices, and support for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n in the 2,4 band GHz.
The upcoming SM-A102U device will support Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, as well as two frequency bands - 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz. This means that the smartphone may receive a more modern processor.
The Wi-Fi Alliance documentation also says that the device runs on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
It can be assumed that the new product will inherit the characteristics of the display and cameras from its progenitor - the Galaxy A10 model. The battery capacity will most likely also remain at the same level - 3400 mAh.
Wi-Fi Alliance certification means that the official presentation of the Galaxy A10e is just around the corner. Observers believe that the cost of the smartphone is unlikely to exceed $120.
