Exactly one year ago Samsung fast 970 Pro NVMe SSD series for the consumer market. And now it became known that this family is waiting for replenishment.
Currently, the 970 Pro NVMe SSD series includes two models in M.2 2280 format - 512 GB and 1 TB. Samsung 64L V-NAND 2-bit MLC flash memory microchips are used. The speed of sequential reading and writing information reaches 3500 and 2700 MB / s, respectively.
Information about the new drive appeared on the websites of a number of network retailers. A modification is being prepared for release, designed to store 2 TB of data.
The estimated cost of the solution is already known: it will be approximately 940 euros, or about 68 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate. For comparison: the 970TB 1 Pro NVMe SSD model is now offered in Russia for 26 rubles.
