Samsung, according to online sources, has submitted an application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to register the Galaxy Tab Active Pro trademark.

As the LetsGoDigital resource notes, a new rugged tablet computer may soon enter the market under this name. Apparently, this device will be made in accordance with MIL-STD-810 and IP68 standards.

The South Korean giant has already released rugged tablets in the past. Yes, in 2017 debuted Galaxy Tab Active 2 model, which is not afraid of water, dust, shock, shaking and falls from a height of up to 1,2 meters. The device is equipped with an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels (WXGA), a processor with eight 1,6 GHz cores, 3 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, a 4G module, etc.

Compared to the Galaxy Tab Active 2, the upcoming Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet will have more powerful electronics. The width of the frames around the display, according to observers, will decrease, which will make it possible to increase its size while maintaining the overall dimensions at the same level.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the timing of the announcement of the Galaxy Tab Active Pro yet. It is possible that the new product will debut at the IFA 2019 exhibition, which will be held in Berlin from September 6 to 11.
