Samsung to launch PlayGalaxy Link game streaming service next month

At the presentation of flagship smartphones Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ last week, Samsung representatives briefly mentioned an upcoming service for streaming games from PC to smartphone. Now network sources say that the new service will be called PlayGalaxy Link, and its launch will take place in September of this year. This means that PlayGalaxy Link will become one of the streaming service's competitors Google Stadia, which is scheduled to launch in the fall.

To use the new service, you will need a portable Glap controller, which was created in accordance with Samsung recommendations and supports Steam Link. The controller is ideal for Galaxy Note series smartphones and can operate without recharging for up to 10 hours. The Glap controller may be the perfect solution for people who don't play on mobile devices due to awkward controls. The controller is available now on Amazon for $72,99.

Samsung hasn't revealed any details about the new service, but it will presumably only be available on the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones initially. Interaction with the service will be carried out through a special application that is compatible with the Android and Windows 10 platforms, and the service itself will apparently be provided for free.

Parsec, which specializes in cloud gaming, is developing a special application together with Samsung. It is based on low-latency content streaming technology.
