As a result, the bank's security service, interacting with representatives of law enforcement agencies, was able to identify an employee born in 1991 involved in this incident.
The identity of the perpetrator is not disclosed, it is only known that he was the head of the sector in one of the business units of the bank. This employee, who by virtue of his official duties had access to databases, tried to use his position to steal information for personal gain. The security service managed to collect and document the necessary evidence that fully proves the crime committed. The employee convicted of stealing data has already confessed. Currently, law enforcement agencies are working with him. The press service of Sberbank emphasizes that at present there is no threat of leakage of client data, in addition to those that an unscrupulous employee managed to steal. It is also noted that in all cases there was no threat to the safety of bank customers' funds.
