Sberbank, according to the Vedomosti newspaper, is considering the creation of "smart" household appliances, in particular, an intelligent refrigerator.
The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), as noted, has already issued a patent to Sberbank for a "smart" refrigerator. The corresponding application was filed in November last year.
The refrigerator is proposed to be equipped with various sensors and cameras. This will automatically track the number of products inside and control their expiration date.
The information, as conceived by the developers, will be transferred to the mobile application. In addition, users will be able to view data through the web interface.
“So the user will be able to make decisions about the purchase of goods or set up their order in automatic mode. The refrigerator will be able to communicate with other devices via Wi-Fi, cellular communications of the second or third generation, ”the Vedomosti newspaper writes.
It should be noted that "smart" refrigerators with Internet connection are already offered by various manufacturers. Whether Sberbank is going to enter this market is not yet clear.
