Microsoft PowerToys has been updated to version 0.15.1

Last May, Microsoft announced a set of PowerToys utilities for Windows 10. The software giant positions the new product as an analogue of PowerToys for Windows XP. However, the new version is open source and presents a different set of utilities than before.

Microsoft PowerToys has been updated to version 0.15.1

Yesterday Microsoft released a fresh update for PowerToys, bringing the build number to 0.15.1. This version fixed the FancyZonesEditor crash and added some new features.

In particular, now PowerToys is not necessarily run only as a system administrator. The way data is stored locally has been improved, and the compatibility of FancyZones with applications has also been improved. The first version of the keyboard manager has been added, and numerous bugs have been fixed in existing applications. The developers said that more than 300 tests were carried out and more than 100 problems were solved in total.

It is important to note that while the collection of utilities is at an early stage of development, therefore, in the future we should expect more features. The current version of PowerToys is available here.
