Experts from Skoltech and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) took part in the research. The developed device is a lightweight wireless cardio sensor designed to record heart rate.

It is alleged that the product will not hamper the movement of astronauts when performing daily operations in orbit. At the same time, the artificial intelligence system is able to control the slightest disturbances in the work of the heart.

β€œOur device is very important for people working in orbit, where the body is subjected to extreme stress. It will help develop preventive medicine, which will allow detecting the first symptoms of a developing disease and eliminating it,” the creators of the device say.

It is expected that in the near future the novelty can be delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) for use by Russian cosmonauts.
