Ruselectronics holding, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, for the first time presented the ERA-GLONASS terminal in a new version.
Recall that the main task of the ERA-GLONASS system is to promptly inform the rescue services about accidents and other incidents on highways in the Russian Federation. To do this, a special module is installed in cars for the Russian market, which, in the event of an accident, automatically detects and, in the call prioritization mode, transmits to the operator information about the exact coordinates, time and severity of the accident.
The new terminal "ERA-GLONASS", developed in JSC "NIIMA "Progress" (part of "Roselectronics"), provides the reception of navigation information on 48 channels from the GLONASS, GPS, Galileo systems.
It is noted that the terminal can be used not only to transmit information about traffic accidents. The device, for example, can become part of a telemetry platform for tracking the location of vehicles carrying perishable food and medicine.
βThe ERA-GLONASS terminal allows for constant monitoring and traceability of digital infrastructure objects for security and emergency assistance in almost any area of ββlife,β the creators say.
It is important to note that the novelty is a completely Russian development, which makes it possible to provide a high level of protection for trusted data exchange.
