Sega has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 will release on the Nintendo Switch on February 20th. Both games will cost 489 rubles.
They will appear on the console as part of the Sega Ages program to bring classic games to modern platforms. Recently, Sega's efforts have focused on the Nintendo Switch. So, recently such retro hits as the original Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star and Space Harrier came out on the console.
Sega Ages projects are also frequently released with new features. This version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (originally released on the Sega Mega Drive in 1992) includes a mode that lets you play as a powered-up Super Sonic right from the start. You will also be able to accept the role of Knuckles.
Puyo Puyo 2 was released in Japan in 1994, but will only now be translated into English for the first time. This version of the game includes online battles, a color blind image mode, a rewind function and online leaderboards. Puyo Puyo 2 itself is similar to Tetris, but with additional complications and gameplay features.
