Today marks the 65th birthday of Steve Jobs. In 1976, he, along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, founded the now world-famous Apple company. In the same year, the first Apple computer was released - Apple 1, from which it all began.

Real success came to Apple with the Apple II computer, released in 1977, which became the most popular personal computer of that time. In total, more than five million computers of this model were sold.

But the company's success largely rested on its charismatic leader. Due to disagreements with John Sculley, then CEO of Apple, Jobs was forced to leave the company in 1985. After this case, Apple Computers Inc. Things went from bad to worse until 1997, when Jobs returned triumphantly.

Then there were the iPod, MacBook, iPhone, iPad... Steve Jobs was directly involved in the development of each of these legendary products. It’s hard to imagine that the head of Apple was struggling with a serious illness and at the same time working so selflessly.

On October 5, 2011, at the age of 56, Steve Jobs died from complications caused by pancreatic cancer.
