Π Magic: The Gathering Arena games have been notified that the project will soon be sent to scheduled maintenance due to the release of patch 1.06.00.
At 18:00 Moscow time, the game went offline, where it will stay there for at least two hours. In reality, the update, as it sometimes happens, can be delayed.
With the release of 1.06.00/XNUMX/XNUMX, Magic: The Gathering Arena will be able to exchange messages with players from the friends list, as well as set the status to "Busy" or "Offline".
In addition, the patch will overhaul the tutorial system (replacing Account Mastery with new challenges) and bring back Historic Ranked games, along with 16 cards from previous Magic: The Gathering sets, by April 25th.
The release version of Magic: The Gathering Arena became available on September 26, 2019 in its own launcher, and on January 16, 2020, it also appeared in the Epic Games Store digital store.
Also Jan 16 Theros: Beyond Death, which adds 254 cards to the game, brings back mechanics from the 2013 Theros expansion, and introduces the Escape ability, which allows you to play cards from the graveyard.
Magic: The Gathering Arena is distributed on a shareware model: card boosters can be purchased for both in-game gold and special crystals. The latter are sold for real money.
