Saying goodbye to any game is not easy, especially if you love it as much as we do Duelyst. We are incredibly proud of the hard work of our developers, but even more so of the wonderful community of friends and gamers who have enjoyed Duelyst,” said Counterplay Games.

The servers will stop working on February 28 at 2:00 Moscow time. In addition, the creators confirmed that since the publication of the announcement, the game has stopped the sale of diamonds.

Users who purchased a “precious” resource between December 21, 2019 and January 24, 2020 are eligible to apply for a refund. You can do this on game support page until 30 March.

In light of the imminent shutdown of the servers, Counterplay Games has also reduced all prices in the Duelyst in-game store by 99%: for example, a set of 50 spheres will cost the user 60 diamonds instead of 6000.

Duelyst Development Funds collected via Kickstarter — Counterplay Games managed to raise $137 (with a goal of $68). The game was released on PC in April 2016 (it is not available in Russia), and in 2017 Bandai Namco took the project under its wing.

In December 2019 Counterplay Games announced Godfall is a cooperative action game in a fantasy setting for PC (Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. The game is scheduled for release at the end of 2020.
