Service for "undressing" a person using DeepNude neural networks is being sold for $ 30 thousand

Estonian developers of the sensational application DeepNude, which allows you to "undress" a person using neural networks, initiated sale of the service and related assets. This was reported on the official Twitter.

Service for "undressing" a person using DeepNude neural networks is being sold for $ 30 thousand

Purchases include a social network account, DeepNude codes and algorithms, an app and database, and the deepnude.com domain. The starting price is $30, and the sale is on the Flippa platform.

Developers are looking for an investor who can realize the potential of the application and ensure the professional development of the system. The creators themselves noted that they could not guarantee this, since the program was hacked shortly after the release of DeepNude. This was the reason for the sale.

Recall that the service started this year, but closed a few days later. The fact is that in June the media told about the application, after which a hack followed. The developers stated that "the world is not yet ready for DeepNude". At the same time, about 95 people used the service last month alone.

At the same time, we note that a number of sites, including Pornhub and others, have banned the placement and use of fake videos on their sites. After all, modern neural networks allow you to change faces, create "digital twins" and so on.

It is possible that in the near future these technologies will allow the creation of fully animated digital copies of actors that will be difficult to distinguish from real people. But it also opens up the possibility of creating fakes.
