The social network "VKontakte" reported on the first results of the service for earning virtual currency VK Coin, built on the VK Apps platform.
The launch of the VK Coin system was announced on April 1, and many users took this message as a joke. But, as VKontakte now claims, the project turned out to be very popular.
So, in just four days, 4 million people used the service, and the maximum number of players exceeded 800 thousand people. The system works in the VK mobile application for iOS and Android. To earn virtual currency, you need to click on the blue button with the VK Pay logo: each touch brings 0,001 VK Coin.
βThe service continues to develop and gets additional features. The game has new "accelerations" - virtual items, thanks to which coins are credited automatically. One of them becomes available when the user creates a VK Pay account, the other after identification in VK Pay and receiving an extended status in it, βthe social network notes.
It is reported that the βShopβ will work on the basis of the service: in it, the received virtual money can be exchanged for offers from partners. Users will be able to receive coupons for discounts from 5% to 20% when ordering from Delivery Club, which are valid for two months. The cost of coupons will be from 50 to 500 thousand coins.
