The Japanese corporation Sharp introduced a very curious novelty - the flagship smartphone Aquos R3 running the Android 9 Pie operating system.
The device received a high-quality Pro IGZO display measuring 6,2 inches diagonally. The panel has a resolution of Quad HD +, or 3120 Γ 1440 pixels.
It is curious that the screen has two cutouts at once - top and bottom. The top waterdrop notch houses a 16,3-megapixel selfie camera. The bottom notch partially surrounds the home button. This design made it possible to minimize the width of the frames.
The novelty carries on board a powerful Snapdragon 855 processor (eight Kryo 485 cores with a clock frequency of 1,80 GHz to 2,84 GHz, an Adreno 640 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X4 LTE 24G modem), 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive for 128 GB.
The main camera is made in the form of a dual block: it includes sensors with 12,2 million and 20 million pixels. The arsenal of the device includes Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters.
Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh. Dimensions are 156 Γ 74 Γ 8,9 mm, weight - 185 grams. The price of the Aquos R3 model has not yet been announced.
