Alpenföhn Brocken ECO Advanced cooling system is designed for processors with TDP up to 170 W

The German company EKL AG, known for its brand of cooling systems Alpenföhn, has introduced a new Brocken ECO Advanced CPU cooler under it. The novelty is an updated and improved version of the Brocken ECO cooling system, released more than five years ago.

The new Brocken ECO Advanced cooling system is built on four nickel-plated copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm, which are assembled in an aluminum base and can directly contact the processor cover. A fairly large aluminum radiator is located on the tubes. The dimensions of the novelty are 149 × 126 × 93 mm. The original Brocken ECO was slightly narrower at 88mm.

A 120 mm Wing Boost 3 fan on a hydrodynamic bearing is responsible for blowing the radiator in the new cooling system. It is capable of rotating at speeds from 500 to 1600 rpm, generating airflow up to 50,9 CFM (86,5 m3/h). The manufacturer separately emphasizes that the Wing Boost 3 fan has a reduced noise level, which does not exceed 24,8 dBA.

The new product is compatible with all current Intel and AMD processor sockets, except for the oversized Socket TR4. The manufacturer claims that the Brocken ECO Advanced is capable of handling processor cooling with a TDP of up to 170W. Separately, I would like to note that the novelty does not have any backlight.
