Canon has unveiled the EOS M200, its entry-level mirrorless camera. This is a rather modest upgrade for the very good EOS M100 camera, which
Everything else has generally remained the same: the M200, like its predecessor, is endowed with a 24,1-megapixel APS-C sensor (maximum resolution is 6000 Γ 4000); can offer a compact body with a fold-out 3-inch touch screen suitable for self-portraits (LCD, 1 resolution); built-in Wi-Fi 040n and Bluetooth 000 wireless transmitters, and a very easy-to-use interface.
Among the features we can mention the standard ISO sensitivity range from 100 to 25 (extended range - up to ISO 600), support for shooting photos in 51-bit RAW format, shutter speed range from 200/14 to 1 seconds, built-in flash, the presence of a stereo microphone, the ability to record video 4000p at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps (format h .720).
The LP-E12 battery provides 315 photos per charge (according to CIPA), the weight of the body without a lens, but with the battery is only 299 grams, and the dimensions are 108 Γ 67 Γ 35 mm. Among the interfaces are USB 2.0 (including for charging), micro-HDMI and the ability to control from a smartphone. Unfortunately for videographers, the microphone and headphones still cannot be connected.
The EOS M200 will hit the market in October with an f/3,5-6,3 IS STM 15-45mm lens, priced at $549, Β£499 and β¬569 depending on market.
