Mafia: Definitive Edition is out today, September 25th for PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One. At the same time, reviews of the game from specialized media appeared on the Web. The scores for the remake fluctuate a lot, with some publications scoring nine and others around six.

On Metacritic PC version Mafia: Definitive Edition has a score of 78 out of 100 after 25 reviews. WITH PS4 practically the same - 76 points and 21 reviews. Critics who tested the project on Xbox One, put 82 points, but there are fewer reviews - only 10. Below are excerpts from the materials of journalists.

Windows Central (90 out of 100): "Strong characters, detailed storytelling, and stunning graphics make Mafia: Definitive Edition one of the best story-driven games of the year."

Jeuxvideo.com (80 out of 100): "Mafia is finally back to its former glory, and this remake is a good starting point for those who want to immerse themselves in a more forgiving game. At the same time, fans will appreciate a revamp that doesn't betray the original experience, even though it feels dated in places."
